It's ironic how people are losing the courage to live in a world that's supposedly gotten much more inhabitable than it was half a century ago. Vulnerability is what makes us human. I feel like we forget that sometimes. We should be more embracive of ourselves and of others. Like Waymond says in Everything Everywhere All at Once: be kind.

I certainly think that the conversation around mental health (and knowing when to ask for help) is still so stigmatized despite the inroads society has made on breaking the taboos around it. Certainly in East Asian societies and families, so many people still think mental health is not a real problem. I really hope people of all ages can see that being vulnerable is OK! I agree about being kind especially to ourselves during this time.

I really appreciated your thoughtfulness here. I think what I love about Bangtan 2.0 is the realness. Pop music lends itself to the slick, and letting us skip the hard parts. BTS has never really shied away from the darker stuff, but even they had limits on their storytelling. They’re all telling it now, in solo stuff, in their own ways. It is beautiful in its pain.

Definitely. I think it really says a lot about Bangtan's trust in its fans but also their place in the K-pop world that they can approach even tougher topics like this out in the open and share their deepest vulnerabilities. I am really looking forward to see what else is in store as they move on in this next chapter!

I was not prepared for the Amygdala music video. I've always respected Yoongi as an artist but it's his vulnerability that sets him apart. He's a brilliant lyricist and storyteller.

It's been a tough week in this community but it has been uplifting to see all the fandoms come together. Rest in peace Moonbin<3

Me either. I really had to sit for a bit to process. It was a difficult to watch and can't say I can do it all over again. However, I was appreciative of Yoongi's storytelling and hope it provides comfort to people in some ways. Certainly a tough week, as life is always unpredictable. Glad to have fellow fans on our side to grieve and mourn <3
